The Graduate Conference this year focuses on International Public Law. We are receiving 16 doctoral candidates from different universities who will present their research on International Criminal Law and the Law of Genocide, International Humanitarian Law, International Environmental Law, and Philosophy of Law.

Additionally, our Berger keynote speaker, Federica D'Alessandra, will open the Conference with a lecture on the critical role of academia and young scholars in navigating international law challenges and opportunities in today's global crisis. She will also provide big-picture insights and illustrate these points with specific contexts, such as the ongoing situation in Syria. She recently published a paper on the Syrian civil society's 10-year effort to document human rights violations.

Professor Samuel Moyn will close the Conference with the lecture 'After Courts?' on the limits of constitutional politics.
