Today’s society, and specifically global food systems, is faced with the challenge of feeding seven billion people – nine billion by 2050. The Cornell Institute for Food Systems (CIFS) comprises a multidisciplinary group of Faculty Fellows who tackle diverse issues in the food industry to meet this challenge. CIFS Faculty Fellows engage with the Institute and its industry partners in a variety of mechanisms including collaborative research, scientific advisory roles, and the development of student talent pipelines.
CIFS offers students opportunities to engage with industry leaders via seminars, experiential learning, annual in-person Career Fair and Food Hackathon events, and lots more!
