About Us
The unifying goals of CDPC are to improve the preparation and mental wellbeing of all Cornellians in the context of polarization, and to reduce polarization where appropriate. CDPC aims to showcase cross-political agreement, promote empathy and constructive disagreement across ideological boundaries, teach skills to navigate a polarized world, and sponsor other activities relevant to its goals. CDPC does not typically promote any political ideology over others, and may serve as a platform for unifying voices during times of divided campus opinion, including advocating for depolarization, areas of bipartisan agreement, and upholding pro-democratic ideals.
