Mission The Cornell Center For Health Equity Undergraduate Student Chapter (CCHEq) aims to immerse Cornell's undergraduate students in health equity topics and research beyond traditional academic settings, fostering a generation of future health professionals who are deeply informed about and committed to addressing health disparities. By organizing educational initiatives such as mini-lecture series, community outreach, guest lectures, and social media campaigns, CCHEq provides a platform for students to explore the "hidden curriculum" in medicine and the pivotal social determinants of health. This mission is rooted in the broader vision of CCHEq to not only raise awareness but also to cultivate passionate, caring, and inquisitive minds ready to advance the field of medicine and medical education with equity at the forefront. Through these efforts, CCHEq seeks to build a foundation for equitable healthcare practices among the undergraduate community at Cornell University.
