This Nature Connect Series is a chance for you to visit a conservatory of the Father of horticulture's greenhouse. Together, we will learn more about a rescued water lily from extinction, a family of skunk cabbage that produces the largest flowering structures on the planet, and an orchid that brings us so much flavor and happiness thanks to the ingenuity of an enslaved 19th-century horticulturist. You will see those amazing plants on a personal tour of Cornell University's Liberty Hyde Bailey Conservatory, home to more than 600 species of plants from 144 plant families. You can learn more about rare plants and plants that defy the imagination on this tour! This tour will be led by Cornell AES greenhouse grower Leo Louis. Meet GRF Trifosa in front of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Conservatory at 2.25 pm, this is only 1 hour tour.
