Earlier this semester on February 26 during House Dinner, Lauren shared how she found a sense of belonging on campus through Cornell Cinema.

Now for Part 2 of this program, we’re heading to Willard Straight Hall to Cornell Cinema to see The Brutalist, this year’s Oscar-winning epic directed by Brady Corbet. The film stars Adrien Brody as a Hungarian-Jewish Holocaust survivor who immigrates to the United States, where he struggles to achieve the American Dream—until a wealthy client alters the course of his life. With a cast that includes Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, and Emma Laird, The Brutalist is a sweeping and emotionally resonant portrait of ambition, displacement, and belonging.

Meet GRF Randy in front of the Becker House Office at 6:45pm as we walk over to WSH together.
