Behind the Apple: Come tour Cornell's Post Harvest Apple Facility!

Come join us on Saturday March 14th at 12:30PM for a behind-the-scenes visit to Cornell’s Apple Post-Harvest Facility at the Pomology Pole Barn!

This is where apples get serious...for sales and taste. The Pole Barn iis a specialized fruit research hub designed for storage, experimentation, and real-world agricultural innovation. We will get a 1 hour tour lead by expert fruit scientists who study how apples are grown, stored, and perfected after they leave the orchard before they end up at the grocery store!

We will even get to taste fresh fruit and cider, plus a look at the science that keeps apples crisp for months.

Where: Cornell Pomology Pole Barn
When: Meet GRF Rouz on Saturday March 14th at 12:30pm in front of the Becker House Office for departure, and we will arrive back by 2:30pm.
