Mission
BSU is an agent of service to the people of the Pan-African Diaspora at Cornell; this is accomplished by addressing their political, organizational, institutional, social, and educational needs. This organization was established as a comprehensive alliance with a focus on resource organization and implementation. It provides a network/space for the members of the Pan-African Diaspora to express their needs and have those needs met. BSU is committed to Afro-centricity, occupying the nexus of academia & activism, and developing community-centered leadership. It is committed to Pan-African unity across lines of ethnicity, culture, socio-economic class, sex, gender, sexual orientation, and religion.
