What is laughter, and why do humans do it? What makes us laugh, and what doesn’t? What role does laughter perform in society? What does it mean to have (or lack) a sense of humor? What is laughter’s relationship to pleasure and pain, health and wellness, education and learning? Prof. Sara Sara Warner (Director, LGBT Studies and Associate Professor, Department of Performing & Media Arts) will share some of the lessons learned from Cornell’s Laughter Lab, a course that co-taught with Dr. David Feldshuh.
