Join Art Beyond Cornell, a student program of the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement, for an art gallery reception displaying the work of volunteers and residents at MacCormick Secure Center, a maximum security juvenile prison in Brooktondale, NY. The work varies in medium, anywhere from origami to self-portraits and many in between. The event will highlight the artists behind the work, the work of ABC as an organization, and our experiences with the juvenile justice system in America. This event is in partnership with the Department of History of Art & Visual Studies. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. We hope to see you there!
