About Us
Alpha Epsilon Phi was founded on October 24th, 1909 by seven young women at Barnard College. Our mission is to to inspire and support exemplary women dedicated to friendship and a lifelong commitment to Alpha Epsilon Phi while building on the vision of our Jewish founders. The Kappa Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority was founded on Cornell's campus in 1920. AEPhi's national motto is "Many Hearts, One Purpose", and this rings true here at Cornell. Our sisterhood is comprised of women with a wide range of backgrounds, interests and aspirations. Our organization values scholarship, service and philanthropy, in addition to sisterhood and leadership development in each of our members. We pride ourselves on our diverse sisterhood and each sister's contribution to our chapter and the greater Cornell community.
