An Evening of Baroque Music with FIR Stephanie

Join FIR Stephanie for an evening of Baroque music at Bailey Hall. Tickets will be provided for those students who register in advance for the event.

Please meet FIR Stephanie outside Bailey Hall at 7:15 PM. The performance begins at 7:30.

For over forty years, Tafelmusik has brought new energy to Baroque music and repertoires in its wake. In their programs and recordings, historically-informed performances of seventeenth- to nineteenth-century instrumental and choral music share the stage with vibrant, innovative multimedia and bold new music written just for the group. Each piece is played on period instruments and illuminated by scholarship, showing a "depth of insight in historical performance, diversity in repertoire, and skill in execution [that] knows no bounds" (Toronto Concert Reviews). At Bailey Hall, Tafelmusik will perform works from Johann Friedrich Fasch, Pietro Antonio Locatelli, Vivaldi, Marin Marais, Telemann, and J.S. Bach.
