Cornell University Society for Buddhist Studies

We are a graduate student led organisation founded in 2019 to promote the academic study of Buddhism at Cornell University. We bring together faculty, graduates and undergraduates to share our respective approaches to Buddhist Studies, to explore new avenues for research and to advance Cornell as a leading institution for the academic study of Buddhism. From contemporary to historical, visual to textual, our members represent a broad range of disciplinary backgrounds, geographical foci and thematic interests.
