About Us
Best Buddies® is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Cornell's chapter was founded in 2013 to help students foster relationships with members of the Ithaca community who have IDD. We hold fun group events at least once a month, ranging from bowling to Friendsgiving! We also participate in the regional Friendship Walk among other activities.
